Pleasant Thoughts and Chicken Driving.....

I know Strange title. Well when you see what I've created below you'll understand the title a liitle more.

To start with this card was made using Impression Obsession Stamp set. called Pleasant Thoughts. I've adored this stamp set, Since I first saw it a while back.

So I finally ordered it and made this daring card with it. I thought I would try something new in the way of a layout.

I know I've seen something like this. I wish I could remember where I found the DP Cause I really love it and only have a few pieces of it left. I chose Navy Bazzill Cardstock for my card base. And then found some scraps of the Lite green Cardstock and the DP. Which I ran through the Cuttlebug embossing folder, Only using the negative side intead of the positive side which gives a cool affect. I used my Crop-a-dile tool to punch holes in the green cs, and then added some ribbon sheer ribbon and tied them off.

It gives a sweet look to the card. The coloring was done with Copic Markers to match the DP.

And to finish the card I stamped the saying Plesant Thought and added the DP and foam tape from 3M.

Now for the next two cards below and to the right. I saw this awesome image on SCS.

I asked her if she could share a couple of images with me. She did and I am so Happy she did!! I think this is the boom. It's a great Stamp and the designer of this stamp set. is Anna Wight from SCS aka SweetMissDaisy.

Anna is such a creative person. and I just love all the stuff she has come up with. But this is by far the BEST in my eyes.

As you can see I created this cute card using more Blues again and some of that cool DP from above. I colored the image with Copic markers and water color pencils, I even added some Pearl Button Brads for the headlights. Which I though worked out really great. The saying is my own hand writing. Just Chickin on ya........

This one I made and gave to my nephew Jacob, Who is 4, and a very creative little boy.

He is always making me little drawing of his own and giving them to me. to cherish.

So I thought I would give him something that I created just for him.

He lives on a Farm and his mom & dad both drive Fords, Plus they have Chickens and dogs. So this image work out great for him.

He loved it!!!! Smiles for ear to ear when I gave it to him.

The card it's self is made by me coloring in the background and then cutting the image out and mounting it onto 3M foam tape. to pop it up. I added the flower stems with Copic Markers and then punched some small circles using my Crop-a-dile tool. They were just the right size. I even colored the smoke from the car and mounted them on 3M foam mounting tape.

It's a totally super fun card to make,,,,,,But in my case it was the fun in giving it to someone that totally LOVED it!!
