Ever Grateful

Thanksgiving is just next week And I thought it would be good to share with you all. My Ever Grateful card.

Both of the stamps are from Companies that have closed their doors. The Wreath is from PSX and the saying is from The Angel Company.

The color's I chose were Orange, Purple, Red and Black. Most of the color's you would find around the fall of the year. One of my favorite times of the year. I used my copic markers to color this beautiful wreath. The image is stamped onto Watercolor paper.

To finish my card off I took some retired Sheer ribbon from Stampin up! and bunched it together and tied it off and then attached it to my card.

I am ever grateful for my family and my friends! Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. Spend it with the ones you love!

My card I made using some of Ippity Stamps by Unity. Stamps I used: The Simple things And
Now and Always Stamped leaf image with Versa Mark ink for background. I used my Spellbinder dies (label 1) to created the background frame. I stamped the image from Now and Always. a couple times. Colored the images with my Copic Markers. Cut out the images I wanted to create this flower. Using double sided foam mounting tape. I attached the flower using my glue Art Tape gun. I attached two purple pieces of ribbon and then added the saying from Simple Things. Edged the paper with zig zag and sponged inked the edges.

I found a really wonderful person to buy my Ippity from. JenMarie Taylor I LOVE her work and she is so nice. Love the way she sends out the stamps.

It's like Christmas.

Enjoy the ride or Tie one one?

I think I would like to enjoy the ride.....I really don't think I could tie one on...Not this day and age.

My Nephews just turned 28, Last week. They both went on a Vacation trip to MT. I know both of them enjoyed their Birthday Trip.

And I would hope that they would have enjoyed the ride. But who knows Maybe they tied one on instead.

The Stamp set I used. Is from Ippity by Unity.

It's called Authentic Man. Super Guy stamps.
And the DP I used is October Afternoon. coloring was done with my Copic's.







I also used my Spellbinder dies and embossing folders to create this one.

I've been doing this for a very long time for them.

I got a Job!!!

Well not a real one. But I did manage to get one for a couple of days. I'll be working the Scrapbook Expo in St. Charles Il. on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. I'll be helping set up and take down the Paper Wizard Scrapbook Booth.

Woo Hoo!! I'll get some extra Money to spend and save some for Vacation too.

The Scrapbook Expo is at Pheasant Run in St. Charles Il.

Plus on Friday night I'm getting with some of my Girlfriends from Dekalb IL and we are going to the crop night on Friday.

Now this is going to be a Super Fun filled weekend. Not to mention a hard working weekend.

Hello,

Finally things are looking up for me with my computer. I downloaded Firefox. Because Internet Explorer was not working for me. Well not the way I wanted it too.

It kept Freezing and Crashing on me. But since I downloaded Firefox. I haven't had those problems. Now it's time to get use to firefox and the way it runs.

I'll post some photo's later. Just wanted to give you all a update on what's happening with me.

Peace Within Creations

Well Hello!

I thought I would share two of my creations using the Stamp set from Stampin' Up! that I just recieved. It's called "Peace Within". I fell in love with it when I found it in the SU catalog. I just had to have it!

As you can see I created some really pretty cards with this stamp set. The top one. Is pretty Basic as far as the layout. But in color it's not. I love using my Copic Markers. Now I just have to learn to write down all the color's I used on this card and the one below. Anyway. Next time I'll do that. I borrowed a Friends Punch to create the border at the botton of the card. to add some detail. Just a couple of other details that I used to make this card pop. Was to add some extra Blades of Grass, the Black Marker Frame around the Bird & Basket. And finally tieing a Prefect bow.

Now here is the one I really LOVE!! Why? you might ask. Well I am a Cat Lover and have 2 of them living in our house. So I just had to create something with this stamp. My color choices were bright and cheerful looking. Which I think works well with this stamp image. (Very Summery Looking). I saw this layout on SCS. But I changed a few things on it. Again I borrowed a few Punches from my friend to created the clever details. The Designer Paper I found at Hobby Lobby one day and I loved the color's and so this is where I found my color choice from. Again the coloring was done using my Copic Markers.
